The Club will no longer meet at the Riverside Leisure Centre pool on Friday nights, but will instead meet at Loch Eck, starting Fri 16 April 2010. We will meet up at the Benmore Gardens car park at 6.30 pm.
It is still to be decided but coaches will probably be present every 2 or 3 weeks, so those occasions only would count as official club outings re insurance etc. Meantime, individuals are welcome to come along on a Friday night for some paddling company.
Please contact the club if you plan to come along and if you need a kayak/canoe.
The membership form for 2010 is now available on the website. Please print off a copy fill out and take along to one of our sessions with the yearly membership fee.
The swimming pool session is cancelled on Friday 26th Feb, and the club AGM will be held instead at the Crown Bar, Dunoon, at 7.30pm.
Thanks to Terry for posting photos of the club’s day trip to Loch Eck on 13 Feb.

The Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club in Greenock is running a first aid course focused on kayakers on the weekend of 27 and 28 February 2010. Limited places are still available. Please use the contact form to advise interest.
Another busy night down at the pool with a wide range of paddlers learning new skills. Unfortunately we will need to limit the numbers attending the pool on Fridays to ensure quality time in the pool for everyone. If you have not already attended pool sessions you will now need to Contact Us about spaces. Sorry!!(would love for everyone to be able to come)
PS. Photos to come
As of Fri 22 January 2010, pool sessions are underway at the Riverside Leisure Centre in Dunoon, every Friday at 7.30 pm. These are for adults.
Winter weather need not prevent getting out on the waters around Cowal. Check out these photos from a recent trip. While the rest of the Clyde was shrouded in fog, a little sunny window opened over Cowal.
