Well, it was a great first meeting and a lot of good points were raised. It's clear we've got some work to do but I think we're moving in the right direction!! As we were kicked out before we got to wrap things up, if anyone has anything to add then please either post it on here or drop us an email. I'll get the minutes and actions put together and either post them on here or email them on request.
…..just realized I sat through the AGM and had a drink at the bar with baby food all over my face……
We maybe didn't mention it directly but when we have provisional dates for coaching or trips it would be good to keep the site up to date. Currently all we have is that one Loch Eck trip appearing on the trips page. I think it's important to try to keep some kind of visual timeline there for people to pencil into their diaries.
Maybe even a list of pool sessions still to go ie by dat too. I coud, take a guess at this but I can't remember how many weeks we've been there, must be old age or something!

Meeting was good and we were pleased the first went very well. As with all AGM's you never really get everyone to attend but lets hope more interest will follow.
A suggestion if we may? Take a look at Glasgow Kayak Club web site. Obviously we have our own site but ideas for improving our club and site may be found by reading through theirs. Julie and myself were on the Wilderness First Aid course at Greenock this weekend 27/28 Feb, which was excellent and were pleased to say both passed it.
We met three guys from the Glasgow club and they indicated it would be good to link our club with theirs so that opportunities for futher trips could be avaiibale to those interested.
We are collecting our boats this weekend coming so wont be at the pool, but if the membership application comes available dont forget to include us.
